clementine CLEM - "Clementine"
See Story:"Subpoena" and "Court Findings Newspaper Article"

Clem came to us as a rescue, so we adopted her and began training her as a back-up to Beau. In her 3 short years with us, she worked a high-profile murder case that resulted in her handler, Al, having to appear in federal court in Philadelphia, 5 years later. Clem’s findings were documented as being the first Bloodhound testimony in federal court (in Pennsylvania). Clem shared her life with Beau and lived a happy and comfortable life until she passed away from cancer. Clem will be fondly remembered as one of our pioneer Bloodhounds during the time when we were first getting started in search and rescue.

Clem shared her life with Beau and knew that she finally had a good home. She died of cancer and it was at least four years after her death when we received a subpoena for Al (her handler then) to appear in federal court in Philadelphia, PA and testify to the trail they worked together.

Clem will be remembered for her short time with us and doing the best she could to serve her community.
